I love the concept. Gorgeous design and lovely details. The perspective and form are wonderful. Stunning colors and fine sense of depth and movement.

this is utterly amazing. my eye wanders everywhere on this painting. i like how the birds float into numbers and how all the checkers are really checkers. kudos mate!
:iconcharquill:
Thank you so much for the nice comment! Yeah, I was afraid the pits in the black checkers wouldn't come across, because I'm not very good at perspective but I'm glad it did. =)

I love it But it reminds me too much of Dali's work.
Time is a great subject but I just think you could do something alot more like YOU with your talent.

I looked over your gallery and I loved to see that you actually do have a style of your own...Maybe you should concider doing another work on the same subject now, with your style.

Thanks for your comments. =)

This was really supposed to be LARGELY inspired by Dali. I was hunting around for my style back in IBH 1-Art (last year) and I really liked surrealism so did some Dali research, liked it alot, and did that piece. Art's always about mimicking from all these different people, inspirations, and sources to create something that is your own. I'm still trying to do that even now. But then again, just because it's Surrealist doesn't mean it's necessarily Daliesque. Dorothea Tanning is a surrealist artist too, whom I got equal inspiration from...

So I'm still going to do some Surrealist stuff, but hopefully I won't be getting such responses from people anymore.
